Working in skateshops you get to watch a lot of kids grow up, some come and go and others stay around and a few grow to become close friends. One of the ways Alex won his way into our hearts was through our stomaches. When you work in the same area for a few years the local food spots become a bit stale, so Alex would call down to the shop before coming to work to see if we wanted him to pick up any exotic fast food from out in the county. Too many memories of eating burritos, pizza and our favorite chinese food Ding How, and sessions at the vans park in VA all prepared Alex for the diverse New York culture. His art learning complete from Parsons he's now out making his mark on the Big Apple and the wild world of skateboarding. Early this year he got his first check out in Thrasher and then released a deck series for Sevenfold.
