New Skate Photo!

Skated Naplis yesterday with Blose and Leonard. Got something I've been wanting to do for a while. But the worst part is the one that got away at the State House...

Hip Hop Night In Annapolis, part 3

Flawless headlined, and brought it down at the end. Big ups to DJ T.E.C. for getting this great thing together in Annapolis.

Hip Hop Night In Annapolis, part 2

The next act up was Vern J and Illah, these guys were dope except for singing that corny Delilah song half way through the set. These guys are kind of like if O.D.B. and Luke Skywalker had kids who formed a group...

Hip Hop Night In Annapolis, part 1

The first guy up was Big Slop, kind of reminded us of the good MC's from the White Rapper show. Here's a clip of him getting busy at the end of his set, and a flick of me chilling with my twin Amber.

Home Court

I finally got a chance to shoot some hoops and the first court I ever played at. The one right in the middle of Downtown Naptown, bring your A game or keep that embarressing shit on your home court.

Skating to my car

That's it, just me skating to my car.

Sick Crew + Sick Spots = Sick Session

Hit the streets of Baltimore with Jake, Teta, Scott Archer, Scott Russell, Sean and Dez. Such a productive day with such a fun crew. Dez took us to some sick spots by his place, and Jake crushed the 3 up 3 down by his crib. Great skate day, thank you boys!

WHAT?! Scott Archer

Music by the Kinks, intro by Moped Mike... What a way to start our first video with our OG team rider!

WHAT?! Bonus

That's me in the orange, I had some ill footage, but i was living on the wrong coast when it got edited out.

WHAT?! Intro

This intro was edited by Blose with some dope footage from Ben Fordham.

WHAT?! Jake Mendelson

Jake looks like such a child in this footage. Bmore, LA and NYC. This kid got around for his part.

WHAT?! Matt House

Just a peek into the amazing ability of Cape St. Clair's finest. Matt House is like our clean cut Randy Colvin, video can never capture the raw power and style of Man House.

WHAT?! Kyle Jensen

Coast to Coast, D.C. to S.F. Kyle Jensen personifies the Seven Fold Aesthetic.

WHAT?! Friends

Friends section featuring Wes Bell, the only seven fold team rider I have never met... Little Danny WHAT?!

WHAT?! Zach Lyons

Zach skating to Cat Power, I love the intro. The footage at the fountains lingers a bit too long... The run he does on the stage at Pulaski is so original and so crazy. Crushes Mercy in the bright orange shirt...

WHAT?! Danny Gotimer

Starting out with the last part from What?! Danny kills it! I'm so stoked on how this part turned out, it was a perfect end to the video. There are too many tricks that could be enders, the gap to 5-0 on the Baltimore double set has yet to be equaled. This is the same time Danny was riding for Select and getting flow from Nike, just killing it.

The best South Park

Don't be down yall, I'm sure Madmany will have all sorts of wonderful posts for us in 2008.

Old sticker

Rob Morcher shot this photo of me at the Lyric around Christmas of 98 or 99. It's one of my favorite skate photos ever. I think we even used this as our Christmas card one year.

Madman sings the Blues

I made this a long time ago probably around 2002 a year after the benefit we did to raise money for my boy Dave. I've been finding all kinds of artifacts from my past, and I decided to rock this one yesterday. It's funny how people reacted, asking me if I was ok, or why I would write something like that on a shirt. Depression is such a normal human emotion, it's something we all go through. If you don't feel it you are not right. It's just funny how little things like words scribbled on a shirt can set people off.

Crucial Books

I wouldn't be able to do what I do without these.

Grimey in the Early 90's

This is the oldest footage I know of that exists of me as a youth skateboarding in Old Annapolis Towne.

Old catalog

This is our old line sheet from 2004. There are so many answers to too many seven fold trivia questions on this one sheet alone.

Zards.

Atlanta beat the Wiz last night, but it was a great game. Thanks Jimmy!

Nacho Banks

Early 90's shaved head and a nice chain wallet. Ancient footage from an ancient spot. Why are they called the Nacho Banks? Because they are Not Your Banks.

Olde Tyme Annapolis Skateboarding

Caleb's Ad

Just got the new issue #17 of Forfunzine! Caleb got the inside cover for his ad! Nice work Claudio, we even got a product review on the Wasabi 8 inch decks!

1995

A mini ramp run of Chillie, Kevin Brennan, Mason Hulle, and a glimpse of a young bald madman... Those were the days.

Old Dirte` Jordan

Here's an old embaressing sponosor me tape Jordan sent us when he was trying to get on the team, and we still put him on...

SF 1994

Got a text message about a former team rider being embaressed about some of his old footage. Well here's a little piece of payback, here are some clips of me and Bill Webb in San Francisco circa 1994.

Can it be All so Simple

Images from a brief magical moment in history. Sevenfold pma colab graphic I hand drew and a concept I mocked up on the computer, and I nice photo of Danny K grinding that big rail on Boston Street.

Even I get censored.

Here's a nice ad I made about 5 years ago, at the height of all the color code terror alerts. Chris Blose wouldn't let this one loose, I'm still feeling it, not sure Adworld skateboarding would allow it either.

The dock of the Bay

With images like this about a 2 second bike ride away, it's easy to see why I chose to make Annapolis my home.

The real star of this show

This little Nikon coolpix 7600 is responsible for about 90% of the content here.

Put Chris in your pipe and...

Finally made it out to the full pipes today with Blose, Matt House and Leonard. So much fun! Matt's board made it all the way around, Blose tore it up and Leonard might have even captured a trick by the Madman...

New Wheels!

Our friends over at Better Skateboarding send the Madman a couple sets of their USA made wheels to test out. You know I've never met a wheel I couldn't flat spot. I'll post a review here and on the 'tube in the future.

New Decks Kids!

I'll take full responsiblity for the pictures on these.

Get busy filming or get busy dying.

Wyoming and Northern California 2000

Photos from the disaster that was the late fall Oranges band West Coast Tour in November 2000, why do you think they named the next album '900 miles of fucking hell'?

If you like to gamble...

Caleb Orton Sponsor tape

The only comment I can add is the Caleb is one of my favorite skateboarders of all time!

Holiday buying guide part 3

It's not too late to get your hands on a copy of Ian Reid's Video.

Hey Mr. Sunshine

The weather here has been that monotone wet grey Mid Atlantic buzz killer. After watching the Lakai video destroy everything else that's been put out in modern skateboarding, I've been trying to regain composure by watching the old Stereo videos. So on a grey day I bring you Matt Rodriguez part from Tin Can Folklore.

Baltimore in Black and White 97-98

3 random clips from Baltimore around 1997 and 1998. Rob Morcher, Jeremy, Shane, Chris Blose, Chris Cline, myselfish and probably someone I'm not remembering.

*note to Chris Blose you should probably turn the music player at the bottom off before watching these clips so it won't interfere with the sound on the video.

Chris Webber Bullets Jerseys

Summer time is such a scorcher here in the DMV (D.C. - Maryland - Virginia), jersey's are the crucial equipment to stay that extra bit dry and cool. Ran across the C. Webber #4 and #2 jersey's while looking for some long johns.

More from the mid 90's

An assortment of shots I took around 95-96.

Sequences

I think these are all from the early part of my career as a skateboard photographer probably 1995 or 1996, all shot with my trusty fully manual Nikon FM2 with motor drive. We got Jimmy Yancey on the board slide, Chris Janz with the bump ollie, Mason Hulle over the hydrant, and Kevin Brennan on the big bank at the Courts.

San Francisco 1994

9 random photos from the random year I lived in the other city by the bay.
