Sevenfold Booth

Some shots of our home at the Top Shop Trade Show. I was so stoked that we got to hang out with my friends Phil and his team from Precision skateboards from Lincoln Nebraska. They are in our top friends hit them up on the 'space. 21 + years in business and I won't say how old Phil is, but I think the bones bridgrade are punk ass little kids to him and he still rips harder than men half his age, check the big bowl footage tomorrow!

Boomerang Bowl

This beauty is the staple of their outdoor park. Scott and some ripper from Kansas City get some on the only dry evening of the whole show.

Top 7 and random skate clip

Here is a shot of the leader board after the first day of the competition, plus a random skate clip from the practice session.

Party Bus!

After the first day of the Contest/Show, they had a VIP charter bus to take all the companies and shops into downtown Minneapolis. 60 plus drunk skaters wilding out! My homey Rob from Plus Skateshop in Michigan and I beat up on some of his team riders and one of mine on the pool tables at the first spot we went to, the kids might rip us on the park, but we held it down on the tables. Then we went to some punk bar and saw a local band, it started to snow and the whole posse got back into the party bus for a wild ride back to park. Chris Teta's doppelganger was riding in the overhead compartment and many other crazy things went down on the ride back, I think Scott's got more photos from the bus on the flickr page.

Pendelton Deck

It was so dope to see this hand painted Don Pendelton deck, hanging on their board wall. I had sent them this a couple years ago, it was cool to get to see it again.

Trade Snow

When I picked up the rental car from the airport I noticed the ice scrapper in the back window. I had no idea that I would be using it the next night.

Top Park

Scott and I just got back from 3rd Lair's 6th annual Top Shop Contest and Trade Show, and we couldn't have had a better time! The whole 3rd Lair crew has built up one of the best skateparks I have ever had the pleasure of skating and a super strong scene.

A place for Spambots

I've been joking about creating a profile and only have those little spambots as my friends. It's pretty bad when they use the same photo for back to back spam-ho's.

Feeling Minnesota

Midwesterners check us out at Top Shop this weekend at 3rd Lair skatepark.

The Shapes of Things to Come

Just got our new custom shapes in. The culmination of a years worth of research. We will have 3 new exclusive deck shapes coming with the new State Birds series. Don't worry we will keep our standard shapes in the line up too.

Sheckle me Not

'I don't know what's in it' but I sure know that this is the antithesis of 'keeping it core'. This commercial is the equivalent to wearing a yellow helmet and riding a giant pogo stick. Congrats you are the Andy Mac of street.

Dropping Anchor

Got our samples for the Trade Show. Finer skate shops can purchase these in a few weeks, and all the other shops are suckers.

Knugget Cords

Got the sample of the Limited Knugget Cords. When we say limited we mean limited, not like some limited dunks that can buy at the mall, but limited like what size do you wear we'll make them in that size for your order.

Signature Socks

I designed these socks a few years ago, they are still my favorite socks ever even they didn't have my name on them. We have to get these into the Sevenfold catalog for next year.

Jake Update

He sent me this photo of his first new ride in almost 3 months. Hey buddy, I think this myspace request we got the other day explains that Rihanna song.

Marco, Polo

Chris Williams sent me this photo from his Florida vacation. I hope there are some skate photos to go along with this teaser.

C List Pro Claims Boycott Saved Vert

Six days after announcing that skateboarding and BMX vert would no longer be part of the X Games, ESPN announced Wednesday that it has changed its mind. The popular disciplines will be part of X Games 14 this summer in Los Angeles

After ESPN announced its decision last week, skateboarders threatened to boycott the Big Air discipline. Big Air features riders swooping down a 60-foot ramp at speeds approaching 40 mph, clearing a 55-foot gap, then skating up another 27-foot ramp.

Asked if he thought the skaters' threatened boycott impacted ESPN's decision, longtime pro vert skateboarder Andy Macdonald of Pacific Beach said, “I think it was the factor that got 'em to take a look at it.”

American Hardcore Movie

This movie is so good you have to see it.

You dance the same and dress the same
Won't be long (till) you are the same
You look the same you act the same
There's nothing new and you're to blame

This is Boston, Not L.A.
This is Boston, Fuck L.A.

Round and Round

Talk about perfect timing, the one day Alex is in town to hang out, and the wheels he designed for us show up! What Sevenfold has done to bring back quality USA made decks in a toy grade market we are bringing to the wild world of wheels! USA made by and tested for skateboarders. This ain't no roller skate wheel made in china, it's the real wheel deal.

For Jamel

Great talking with you today! We are going to line up all these ducks in 08! Hyped on the New Hope!

Classic Photo

Seeing Teta's old paintings inspired me to put up some old art of my own. This photo of Rob Digi at the Red Ledge is one of my all time favorite artsy skate photos that I have taken. I digitally altered the colors and made the crop in photoshop way back in like 1999.

I'm not your Buddy, Guy

Ray Barbee

I think it was last week, we were talking about 10 people who changed skateboarding, and I forgot to mention Ray Barbee. Kids need to youtube his Public Domain and Ban This parts, to understand how he changed it. He made skateboarding so accesable to everyone, just being able to skate down the street and film a part had not really been done before. Element needs to give him a pro model, I'm sure Mike Vallely could give up one the eight pro decks that he's white knuckling onto his career with.

Hurricane Warning

There's a category 7 named Chris about to slam into Minneapolis the last weekend of April, accompanied by Tropical Depression Scott. You have all been warned!!!

The Best Revenge

Word on the streets is confirmed that our former sales manager Art had something to do with the changes over here - http://www.myspace.com/sheeplepeople
Not to be a friend whore but at the same time being a friend whore, why can't we be friends?
