Scott Archer Open Your Eyes part
This was such a good time for Scott's skating. This footage is from the same time as his clips from 411 #50. Lots of Maryland and DC spots.
Chad Hall Open Your Eyes
OG team rider Chad Hall puts a hurting on the Dunkirk part. This is from Dan Cherry's Open Your Eyes video, early 2000's kids. A couple clips from the old Atonement park on Kent Island, and this is just a small glimpse of how a amazing Chad was on his board.
Beast Of the East Exodus Skatepark Ocean City Maryland
I found some nice Easter Eggs this weekend. Starting of with this classic clip from Beast of the East at Exodus Skatepark in Ocean City Maryland. This was a classic contest. Asshole Mike was completely wasted the whole time, Scott killed it and got robbed, I think that guy with the pink griptape doing the boneless beat him...

BBQ Pics
I'm so stoked that the first ever Truxton - Back in the Day 'Courts BBQ' went off today, even through the hail we kept the grill rolling. It was a great mix of old and new heads, veggie burgers and steaks, and you can't have a good cookout with out a few dogs lurking around. Sean brought his new Doberman puppy Porter out. Richard came through with a nice Jersey barrier. We all got our fat boy on and grilled up all afternoon. Thanks to the heads who made it all possible, extra thanks to Leonard for the motivation to make this happen. See you guys next Saturday?

This one time at skate camp...
I'm back to restore the program Nikki and I started what like 5-6 years ago, something like that (time flys). Any of the kids who were at my original camps know how much these kick ass! I'm looking forward to bringing that same good old time back. Get your little brothers, and sisters and the kids in your neighborhood to sign up, so they can get better and stay out of our way at the park.

Big Poppa Pop
S.O.B. Fundraiser
Skatepark of Baltimore had their 3 year anniversary party - fundraiser last Saturday. There were bands and food (not a good idea to eat anything called Dangerous... but Dr. Shen hooked me up the next day and I'm finally ok). They had art for sale, Chris Blose anted up and bought a nice photo of Jake. Scarcher had a deck our boy Rupp was featured in both photographic and paint media, and Mr. Bosco Picard had some nice paintings of General Mao. The best part of the event was that they had some skateable sculptures, the most fun item was a barrel with slant ramps welded to the sides.

Classic Stickers
These old skate stickers (except the Powell ones) bring back memories of a time lost when skateboarders owned the skateboard companies. The super rare Zero Two the old velcro vegan skate shoe from the early 90's, they had a crazy dope team, Sean Sheffey, Ed Templeton, too many too remember. That old one of Rosa from the early 90's at the prime of the Shorty's and Big Brother days was such a creative time in skateboarding. The old Life sticker I remember all the kids a my High School rocked that shit all the way out because of Jeremy, and it was such an ill company. Television the old company that Ed Templeton and Mike Vallely when he was still a vegetarian did after New Deal. It's crazy that none of those guys in the Chocolate stickers still ride for them, of course Keenan RIP. Got to have old Powell stickers, the Cab and Lance stickers were always way cooler than the kooky skeletons, but kids do love skulls, don't they?
Best Show on TV
Edan knows that the Boondocks is currently the best form of situation comedy available on the television these days. Cartoon network after dark, check your local listings. I have some video clips, but blogger or my internet connection won't let me upload them. Chris Blose is back on his board, so go grab yours and get your skate on this weekend.

For the Madman Faithful
Last month kind of got away from me, the Flu and the Recession really took a toll on me. March is looking to be another great month in Two Thousand Skhate! Here is a clip of some old garbage ramp footage of Chris Teta and Scott Archer from last fall.
