Island Love

Seven fold has always maintained a special relationship with the great skateboarders of Kent Island. I rolled across the bridge today to hang out with Teta, James and their homey's Charles & Ryan. James had a very productive first day in the family and Chris pulled in some solid footage too. I had a great time on the island just like I always do, thanks for the hospitality kids lets do this again real soon.

Little Chris is not so little any more. He's been part of the Seven fold family longer than most, Nick Langley spotted him and put him on flow in early 2002, I think he was like 12 or 13. Blose wasn't the only Chris to crush the fullpipes, Teta broke off the nollie heel proper.

Last Saturday @ Kyma

Don't know where to begin on this one. It was a dream come true to have a night of hanging out watching skate videos in Annapolis. DJ T.E.C. invited us to shows some videos and spotlight a little project Blose and I have been working out with the help of Fila, who came out and gave out raffle tickets to win shoes and clothes. It was a great night with all kinds of heads coming from all 4 corners of the Maryland skate landscape. Special shout out to my girl 'S.K. Downs unlimited 2008 all rights reserved' for coming through with some great photos. Thanks to all the heads who came out from all over.

I had a great conversation with Claudio from Mad Rats Shoes. They are a Brazilian skate shoe company making shoes since the 80's, "no china bullshit here". Made in Brazil from 100% natural rubber. Looking forward to helping these guys break into the US market this year.
